Tom Goom BSc, MCSP, HCPC is a physiotherapist, international speaker and researcher. He specialises in running injury and has published in tendinopathy, running gait and athlete empowerment. He also collaborated with Izzy Moore and Kelly Ashford to write a chapter on gait retraining for performance and injury risk in The Science and Practice of Middle and Long Distance Running by Richard Blagrove and Philip Hayes.
Tom’s website, running-physio.com has gained a worldwide audience and become a go to resource for many runners and therapists. He regularly contributes to main stream media to help runners manage their injuries, including recent work with Runner’s World.
Tom remains an active clinician and is passionate about providing high quality, evidence-based care to help runners get back to their best after injury.
